This Train the Trainer course has been designed for the Subject Matter Expert who is tasked to develop a program for a diverse audience. Upon completion of this program, the learner will have the knowledge, skills, tools and attitudes to be able to provide exceptional facilitation skills in assisting their participants to transfer the theory to their respective work environment.
Course Overview
In the first unit, facilitation, the learner will be presented with the fundamentals of andragogy (adult education). The principles of adult education are unique and it is important that the facilitator is able to identify the needs and expectations of the learner so that they are able to transfer technical and new information to their work. Topics such as adult education philosophy, motivated learning principles, communication and facilitation skills and training styles will be presented using interactive, dynamic and relevant exercises.
